I chose Ngamotu beach. I love coming here with my family and friends, this beach is very nice and has some good waves. I used to come here alot with my cousin and we loved it so much. It is a fun place and good for tanning.😉 Being outside is good for you and a beach is the perfect thing. Swimming, running and tanning, what else could you ask for!!

Some things that I learned about Google drawings is that you need to be very patient. The thing I enjoyed most about the fish was I could get creative and make my fish look however I want! The most frustrating part about this was I couldn’t get the right shapes at some points so my fish looked very od. Something I did really well was everything:P !Something I need to work on is being more patient when my shapes didn’t load.

On Tuesday, we had the maatauranga days at our school. I chose tukutuku. The thing I enjoyed most about tukutuku was making the patterns, and learning about the story behind them. The most frustrating part about tukutuku was tying the knot at the end. Something I need to work on is cutting my string the same size 🙂  I personally think that it was easier to use the needles to place your string through the holes, but some people used their hands ! And the reason   I chose this photo, was because it shows me doing one of the cool tukutuku patterns!

29th of April, 9LDO went skating in the hall !

Some things that I learned about skating is that I am very bad at it :3 The thing I enjoyed most about skating was watching people fall over because it funny! The most frustrating part about skating was that I couldn’t do it without a chair. Something I realise about skating is you need to have good balance. Something I need to work on is SKATING !!!

Characters & Identity.

My favourite character in the story is Mallory because he is funny and clumsy like me. A character I didn’t like was Sam’s mum because she was being very bossy and lied to Sam. The character that reminds me most of myself is Mallory because he’s silly. The character that I would most like to be like is Bronco because he is really good at speaking maori and very brave. The character that surprised me most was Peachy because I didn’t realise that she also had cancer. The character that makes the biggest change in the story is Bronco because he is the one that decided to go take Sam home. If I could eliminate one of the characters I would get rid of Sam’s mum because I didn’t like her for some reason.😘
